2. Use the Taskbar Search

The Taskbar Search is a built-in feature that allows you to search for files, folders, and applications directly from the taskbar. To enable it, right-click on the taskbar, select “Search”, and choose “Windows +” or “E”. This feature is faster and more intuitive than the traditional Windows Search.

3. Customize Your Search Settings

Windows Search allows you to customize your search settings to suit your needs. You can change the search location, add or remove search fields, and even create custom search filters. By tailoring your search settings, you can optimize your search experience and find what you need quickly.

4. Use the Search Filter Feature

The Search Filter feature in Windows allows you to narrow down your search results by specific criteria such as file type, size, and date modified. By using this feature, you can quickly find the files you need and avoid unnecessary results.

5. Create a Custom Search Icon

Creating a custom search icon allows you to quickly access your preferred search tool. You can create a custom icon using any tool you like, and place it on your desktop or taskbar. This feature is especially useful for those who prefer to use alternative search tools.

6. Use the Windows Search Settings App

The Windows Search Settings App provides a centralized location for managing your search settings. By accessing this app, you can customize your search settings, add or remove search fields, and even create custom search filters.

7. Optimize Your Windows Search Index

Optimizing your Windows Search index can significantly improve your search results. By regularly indexing your files and folders, you can ensure that Windows Search has access to the latest data, making it faster and more accurate.
